BHP alum produces “Portal”

Portal will be released Tuesday, Oct. 15.

South Dakota actress and Black Hills Playhouse alum Jenna Green is adding another title to her resume: associate producer.

Green spent four weeks in Los Angeles working on the production “Portal,” which will be released Tuesday, Oct. 15 — just in time for the Halloween season! The movie was an official selection of Shriekfest 2019 — a film festival highlighting upcoming horror films and honoring the classics. Lead actress Jamie Tisdale was awarded as Best Lead Actress at the festival for “Portal.”

“Portal” is the story of an ambitious ghost hunter who, in efforts to summon a real spirit for his television series, performs a risky ritual and opens a portal to “the other side.” He and his team quickly find themselves in a fight for survival against an ancient demonic force.

She is also an international voice actress.

“Portal” stars Ryan Merriman (“Final Destination,” “Halloween: Resurrection,” “42”), Jamie Tisdale (“The Devil’s Candy,” “From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series”), Najarra Townsend (“Contracted,” “Tru Loved”), Myk Watford (“The Kitchen,” “Trailer Park of Terror”), Reinaldo Zavarce (“Hotel Du Loone”) Gregory Zaragoza (“The Last of the Mohicans,” “Stumptown”) and horror icon, Heather Langenkamp (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”).
